We have been comforted and our sad spirits buoyed by the tremendous outpouring of admiration, gratitude, appreciation and love for Sergio from media outlets around the globe, Brazilian President Lula da Silva, notable friends, collaborators and music colleagues who knew Sergio well and the legions of passionate fans from, truly, every part of the world that his music reached. It is the latter we wish to celebrate and spotlight here…many sentiments in many languages, but all sharing the language of love, peace, beauty, melody and joy that Sergio embraced as a man and a musician.

Friends and collaborators including Herb Alpert, Common, Harrison Ford, Quincy Jones, John Legend, Pele, and will.i.am share stories about the man and his musical legacy.
